[13:52] <eddies> Prioritization (1, 2, 3)
[13:52] <eddies> Size (S, M, L)
[13:53] <eddies> (priority 1 is highest)
[13:53] <eddies> FESL 2: Finish FESL 1. This involves building an API or DSL to allow simplified creation/management of policies. Try to get concensus on API vs DSL first.
[14:00] <eddies> Size: L, Priority: 2

[14:01] <barmintor> cwilper: I also think there is a thrid component, which is breaking the actual provided services apart
[14:01] <eddies> Multi-Node Fedora: High Availability
[14:01] <barmintor> maybe s/component/option/
[14:01] <eddies> just got dropped
[14:01] <fasseg> me too
[14:01] <barmintor> me too
[14:02] <eddies> yay freeconf
[14:02] <fasseg> cwilper: sorry i seem to have reformatted FedoraHome.java so there are lots of changes which are just format related, indeeed it's just a handful of lines i changed
[14:02] <eddies> folks want to try this for voice? http://www.speek.com/mediashelf
[14:03] <kompewter> [ Speek ] - http://www.speek.com/mediashelf
[14:03] <eddies> i can't connect to freeconf at all
[14:03] <Dan_Davis> Adam and I are on the line but cannot hear anyone else.
[14:03] <eddies> (you can click the "join through internet" button)
[14:03] <eddies> or give it a phone number to call you at (U.S. only)
[14:04] <eddies> i still can't get through to freeconf
[14:04] <Dan_Davis> Adam and I were connected through the land line.
[14:05] <cwilper> Eddie, I couldn't get my audio working on speek...
[14:06] <cwilper> are you able to call the US # for freeconf?
[14:06] <cwilper> +1(805)399-1200, Access Code: 341861
[14:06] <cwilper> if you have skypeout, it tends to be more reliable than straight skype access
[14:07] <eddies> ok
[14:10] <eddies> Multi-Node Fedora: High Availability (once again)
[14:11] <barmintor> I hear about high-availability for Fedora all the time
[14:13] <barmintor> In some ways, we'd probably do horizontal scaleout on the way to clustering/HA
[14:13] <eddies> Size: L, Priority: 1
[14:14] <eddies> Multi-Node Fedora: Horizontal Scale-out
[14:14] <fasseg> for me it's a 1/L
[14:14] <eddies> also L/1
[14:15] <barmintor> eddies: I'm repeating myself, but I think there's a 3rd bullet under this item of breaking apart the various services provided by fcrepo
[14:16] <barmintor> identity/description/storage/service mediation
[14:16] <barmintor> and addressing scalability and/or HA at those levels
[14:27] <barmintor> re: Maven 3: as opposed to CentOS, I think it's the default on OSX
[14:35] * fasseg (~fas@HSI-KBW-46-223-116-28.hsi.kabel-badenwuerttemberg.de) Quit (Quit: Leaving)
[14:36] <cwilper> eddies: it looks like maven3 is already on the Bamboo agent we're using for testing, so I told it to use that and started a build. https://bamboo.duraspace.org/browse/FCREPO-CORE-55 (it should start in a few minutes...)
[14:36] <kompewter> [ Fedora - Core Test 55: Build Result Summary - DuraSpace Bamboo ] - https://bamboo.duraspace.org/browse/FCREPO-CORE-55
[14:49] <barmintor> that's too bad
[14:55] <cwilper> yeah, looks like it's not really there?
[15:11] <eddies> cwilper: i don't understand the failure log
[15:12] <eddies> and does it matter that maven-1.0.2/bin and maven-2.1/bin are in the path (maven-1.0.2?!)
[15:18] <eddies> I know nothing about Bamboo, or if we're using "Elastic Bamboo" but I found this: http://randomizedsort.blogspot.sg/2011/06/configuring-and-customizing-elastic.html (search for "Maven 3")
[15:18] <kompewter> [ Randomized Sort: Configuring and Customizing Elastic Bamboo ] - http://randomizedsort.blogspot.sg/2011/06/configuring-and-customizing-elastic.html

[15:40] * grahamtriggs (~Graham@host213-123-239-134.in-addr.btopenworld.com) has left #duraspace
[15:58] <cwilper> eddies: yes, we are using elastic bamboo. part of the issue is that software required for a build needs to be pre-installed on the AMI we use. i couldn't fully decipher the error message either, but it appears in this case that maven3 isn't really installed, even though bamboo told me it was. i have one other thing i can try before giving up on maven3 w/bamboo for now. I have another ami sitting around that i know has maven3 inst
